Andrea is located in the foothills of the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts. 

As an artist, Andrea’s primary focus is in the art of making, fabrication and storytelling and how we preserve skilled craft & traditions as an act of social resilience. She is a multimedia artist and loves to sew and knit her own clothes, paint folk-style illustrations, carve linocuts and work in metal.

Andrea holds a B.A. in Art History from Mt. Holyoke College and a M.A. in Italian Literary & Cultural Studies from the University of Connecticut. She has presented work on Dante, Boccaccio, and the literary and artistic circles of Trieste at the turn of the 20th century. She continues to blend her academic training as a cultural studies scholar into her creative work, often weaving together history, literature and humanist inquiry into her art.
